I had the privilege of completely overhauling the design of Hope House's logo and branding identity, creating a fresh and inviting new look for their business.

Working closely with the client, I selected a vibrant color palette and crafted a cohesive design system that extends across all their media, from print materials to their newly updated website. The result is a distinctive brand identity that perfectly captures the essence of Hope House.

The New Logo

This organization was looking to update its original logo into something that welcomed all into a safe space, while still retaining its original icon representing the old oak tree that is indicative of their location. Using it in the logo can help to convey a sense of history and stability.

By emphasizing the idea of a safe place in their logo, the organization is signaling to potential clients or members that they prioritize safety and security.

The New Type

The choice of font can have a significant impact on how people perceive an organization's brand. By selecting a font that conveys a sense of warmth, openness, and safety, the organization is signaling to its clientele that it is a welcoming and trustworthy place.

Finding a type that is associated with friendliness, approachability, and evoked feelings of safety and welcome were a must. Also, I considered factors like readability and accessibility to ensure that the font was usable for all members of their audience.

Brand Colors

By incorporating the organization's original colors known for domestic violence awareness and support, the colors purple and green, I would be able to demonstrate respect for the organization's history and existing branding.

The addition of adding new brand colors to pair with the existing ones can help to convey a message of safety and support and can help modernize the organization's visual identity while reinforcing its mission and values.
